Ruqya for the house using Ruqya water & Ruqya Bakhoor
While you are in the state of Wudhu it is advisable to warn the jinn to leave the house for three consecutive days (see last part: 1a, 1b,1c & 1d) (best time to do this is at asr time).
Open the front main door. In each room say something like “By the command of Allah, this is my house, any jinn that is here must leave and find somewhere else to live” and also “we don’t want to harm the jinn, after 3 days I will spray ruyqa water, it is water with Quran recited on it and it will hurt you, so you should leave”.
Once the 3 day of warning is completed you may begin with the procedure. (If you have purchased Ruqya water then go directly below to “Procedure”
You should be in the state of wudhu before starting the procedure.
Ruqya Water
Recite the following surahs below if you would like to make it more potent then you can read various other verses/ayat relation to sihir(magic) in water, if zamzam is available then you can mix some in filtered water and if filtered water is unavailable then clean tap water. (Please note, if you add pink Himalayan salt, alum powder and Sidr powder into the water it will make it far more potent but may leave temporary stains which can be cleaned after the house is free from the Shayateen)
Bakhoor
As for Bakhoor, black musk incense powder is good and even better if its mixed with black musk perfume, you may add other powders such as qist al hindi and sidr powder. Once your mixture is ready then read the following below.
Before starting on each set, begin with “Authubillahi sami’ul ‘alim mina shaytan arrajim, min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nath-fi, bismillahi rahman arrahim” and remember to do 3 dry spits after each Surah.
3 X Al Faatiha
3 X Ayat Al Kursi
3 X Surah Al Kaafirun
3 X Ikhlas
3 X Falaq
3 X Naas
Procedure:
Pour the water in a Spray Bottle. Leave the main door open and start calling the adhaan and begin spraying from the left hand side of the main entrance door moving towards your left and continue to all the rooms until you go right around and end up on the right side of the main entrance insuring you spray covering all around the four corners of the room, on and around the windows and doors. (The toilet door should also be open but avoid spraying inside it. Do not take the bakhoor in the toilet either but not to worry it will automatically get in there). Once you finish, burn the bakhoor and go all around the house, then play surah Al-Baqarah and if you have more time then play Surah Al Imran. Make sure you close the door before Maghreb (1D).
(This should be done for three consecutive days but can be done for 7 days or more if needed)
If you have tiles or floor board, you can use this water to mop the floors; additionally it is also beneficial to spray around the outside of the house.
Make sure you pray your nafil prayers at home as the Prophet (sallahu ‘alayhi wassaalam) said “Do not turn your homes to grave yards by not praying the prayers (nawaafil) in your homes. (Bukhairi/Muslim)

Abu Tha’labah al-Khushani said: “The Messenger of Allaah(s)said: ‘The jinn are of three types: a types that has wings, and they fly through the air; a type that looks like snakes and dogs; and a type that stops for a rest then resumes its journey.” [Shaykh al-Albaani said in al-Mishkaat (2/1206, no. 4148): al-Tahhaawi and Abu’l-Shaykh reported it with a saheeh isnaad]
(1b)Abu Sa’id al Khudri said, The Prophet of Allah said “Some snakes are jinn; so when anyone sees one of them in his house, he should give it a warning three times.”[4521]. If it return (after that), he should kill it, for it is a devil. (Abu Dawud)
(1c)Narratted AbdurRahman ibn Abu layla: The Prophet of Allah was asked about house snakes. He said; when you see one of them in your dwelling, say; “I implore you by the covenant which Nuh made with you, and I implore you by the covenant which Sulayman bin dawud made with you not to harm us. If they come back kill them (Abu Dawud)
(1d) narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not let your animals and children go out when the sun has set, until the first part of the night is over, for the devils come out when the sun sets, until the first part of the night is over.”
